Since I'm leaving for Las Vegas in a few days I thought I would highlight one of my faverite restuarants there... Deigo's Mexican Cuisine... They have traditional recipes hand-picked from the Mexican countryside to create the foundation for a bold menu. Using honest ingredients and modern techniques, Diego presents authentic Mexican dishes with a new twists. they also feature a nice selection of tequilas, and you'll find the bright and vibrant atmosphere to be just as exciting as the food. So, if you are ever out that way it's inside MGM just waiting for you to try it.
Thanks for reading and happy eating on this Thanksgiving!!Monday, November 22, 2010

Foodies can not only eat, but they can cook.
I decided that instead of only doing reviews and suggestions of restuarants I love but I would also add my favorite recipes. So, I'd like to start with my Sister's Guacamole Recipe, which is my absolute favorite.
Ingredients
4 avocados - peeled, pitted, and mashed
2 lime, juiced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup diced onion
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
2 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
Directions
In a medium bowl, mash together the avocados, lime juice, and salt. Mix in onion, cilantro, tomatoes, and garlic. Refrigerate 1 hour for best flavor, or serve immediately.
So, freakin' good. lol
